Homeowner Romano and his two daughters were looking to find him a new, more accessible home following the sad passing of his wife of nearly 60 years. Romano absolutely adored living in Maroubra, despite the home’s location on a busy main road. Other deterrents to the sale included the home’s clunky floorplan and decidedly tired vibe. Luckily, bathroom renovations were not needed, allowing interior designer Wendy Moore’s kitchen design ideas to take a bigger share of the budget.
